Mike Miller is the General Counsel of Temerity Capital Partners. Mike’s responsibilities encompass all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and venture capital investment, and commercial and technology transactions.
Prior to joining Temerity, Mike worked extensively with private-equity owned technology-enabled companies in the areas of business services, risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, and payments. Most recently, Mike served as the Deputy General Counsel of Corporate Risk Holdings, LLC where he operated as the chief lawyer for the transactional due diligence business unit of Kroll (a global investigations, compliance, and cybersecurity firm) and Kroll Factual Data (a leading provider of data and verification services to the mortgage industry). Prior to Corporate Risk, Mike was the Assistant General Counsel for Travelex Global Business Payments, Inc. (acquired by Western Union), where he managed domestic legal matters for this global non-bank financial services provider of wire transfer, ACH, and check conversion services. Earlier in his career, Mike was an Associate at the boutique business management and sports agency GameTime Sports Management, LLC, where he helped manage various off-the-field business transactions and personal matters for certain professional football and baseball players, including 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee and former Baltimore Ravens’ linebacker, Ray Lewis.
Mike is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, where he earned an LL.M in Securities and Financial Regulation, the Widener University School of Law (J.D.), and the University of Maryland – College Park (B.A.).
