Since 2018 the Sandler Foundation has supported six innovative entrepreneurs through the Global Good Fund across the globe, including:
- Kelly Orians, founder and Executive Director of Rising Foundations, working to stop the cycle of incarceration in New Orleans and Louisiana
- Vaibhav Lodha, co-founder of ftcash, one of India’s fastest-growing companies empowering micro-merchants and SMEs through financial inclusion using digital payments and loans
- Julio Lavalle, seeking to contribute to the monumental task of helping the 1.7 billion underbanked citizens globally
- Wemimo Abbey, co-founder of Esusu, helping people build credit and bridge the gap to financial access and inclusion
Cancer Support Community
The Cancer Support Community is a global network offering support to millions of people touched by cancer, available online and at community-based centers and hospitals.
CSC is dedicated to ensuring that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by the community. Andy Sandler serves on the Board of Directors of the Cancer Support Community, and the Sandler Family Foundation is committed to bringing a Cancer Support Community Center to Washington, D.C., to increase access to cancer care and navigation in the nation’s capital.
